Acer Inc. this month said it will release the Iconia Tab A200 to U.S. retail Jan. 15 starting at $329.99.
The 10.1-inch tablet will include Google Inc.?s Android Honeycomb 3.2 OS, with free upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in mid-Feb.
Hardware specifications include an Nvidia Tegra 2 Dual-Core CPU with GeForce CPU, 2MP front-facing camera, USB 2.0, MicroSD slot, microUSB port, and eight-hour battery life.
The Acer Iconia Tab A200-10g08u with 8GB of memory will sell at $329.99 while the A200-10g16u with 16GB memory will sell at $349.99.
Prior entries in the Iconia line sold at $449.99 and $499.99.
The 7-inch Iconia Tab A100 began sale in 2011 at $299.99.
