Self-Talk Strategies

Self-Talk: A Powerful Strategy

Personal and Business development can be greatly enhanced by the use of this strategy. Although self-talk is not strictly speaking self-hypnosis it is nevertheless a powerful strategy for influencing the subconscious.

It is a powerful self help strategy for developing self-esteem, self-confidence and for generally improving the self-image. This is achieved through affirmations, which encourages creative visualisation patterns in the brain, which improves self-belief and creates a positive attitude.

Click here to find out how Muhammad Ali used this powerful strategy to win the World heavyweight boxing championship three times.

No Easy Fix

You can use this self-help strategy for achieving any goal, purpose or aim that you may have in view. First of all, I want to assure you that not everything is possible! This may sound like a contradiction, but what I want you to understand is that the impossible is not possible!

You cannot achieve something for nothing! There is no easy fix for all the difficulties and problems of life. Some things cannot be fixed! Sometimes you will have to live with the consequences of actions taken years before.

However, this is not a philosophy of despair. Let us be practical and face facts. If we are dealing with the pain of broken relationships, bereavement or family discord then we sometimes have to bear with these circumstances while trying to find a way to alleviate the suffering we feel.

But there is still much that can be achieved by using a Self-Management Strategy such as self-talk.

Self-Management Strategy

There are five simple steps to achieve your objectives:

1. Programming creates beliefs.

The amazing thing we need to understand is that we believe what we are programmed to believe! Our conditioning, from the day we were born, has created, reinforced, and nearly permanently cemented most of what we believe about ourselves.

However, we do not have to accept our present programming and conditioning. We can re-programme ourselves and the way to do that, is with affirmations or self-talk.

2. Belief creates attitudes.

What we believe about anything will determine our attitudes about it, create our feelings, and direct our actions, for good or ill. Beliefs are created through our self-talk.

3. Attitudes create feelings

A good attitude is essential to any achievement. A good attitude allows you to see opportunities ahead and gives you the willingness to set your sights to achieve them. Self-talk creates those attitudes.

4. Feelings determine actions

How we feel about something will always determine or affect what we do and how well we do it. If we feel good or positive about something, we will behave more positively about it.

How you feel about your job, your partner, your family, your money, your health, your self, your success, will determine how you behave in each of those areas. If your feelings are positive and productive, your actions will follow. Feelings are created through our self-talk.

5. Actions produce results

How we act, what we do, each moment of each day will determine whether or not we will be successful that moment or that day in anything that we do. How you manage yourself, what you do, how you act, each and every moment, every word you speak, motion you make, and action you take, or do not take, will determine how well anything in your life works for you. Our actions are determined by our self-talk.

Our Programming

But it all starts with our programming. This powerful mastermind strategy from Muhammad Ali will transform your life like no other self-help strategy you have ever tried. Because it is based on how the mind actually works, it was how your mind was programmed in the first place.

?It?s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.?

Muhammad Ali

Think deeply about that sentence, understand its implications and its ramifications.

1. Programming the mind through affirmations creates belief.
2. Belief creates attitudes.
3. Attitudes create feelings.
4. Feelings determine actions.
5. Actions produce results.
