Bobby Brown has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Authorities pulled over the ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston on Monday afternoon at 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Victory Blvd. and Wilbur in the Van Nuys/Tarzana, Calif., neighborhood, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Brown was pulled over for talking on his cell phone, but officers gave him a field sobriety test, according to Officer Mike Harris of the California Highway Patrol.
The New Edition singer allegedly failed the sobriety test and was taken to the Van Nuys jail where he was charged and booked for suspicion of DUI.

Responding to a request for comment from Access Hollywood on Monday afternoon, Brown?s manager told Access that the singer had been released from jail and was home following the incident.
This is not the first time Brown has been arrested on suspicion of DUI. He previously faced a DUI charge in the late 1990s, and eventually served time in jail on the charge in the early 2000s.
