[Tutorial] How To Clean An Infected Computer ? Windows 7

If you notice a significant slowdown of your computer or your Internet browsing, strange behavior of your computer or your software, in short, that something is wrong, then you?re computer is probably infected with some sort of virus. Even if you use antivirus software, some malware can happen to pass through: spyware, fake software, fake anti-virus, Trojan horse or virus. The source of infection may be software that you installed that turns out to be a trap, a malicious link from a friend who seemed you trust, not to mention the cracks and other pirated software, which are a breeding ground for infections. Unfortunately the damage is done and your computer is infected, however there is still a hope and in this tutorial I will show you how to clean computer using free software SUPERAntiSpyware. You will be able to deep clean your computer and remove malware, viruses, fake software, spyware and other threats that lurk there. The software detects and removes more than 1 million infections known as even the most pernicious antviruses.

To get started we will need disable System Restore and delete the existing restore points since if there is a viruses in your system it is probably attached to your restore point and by restoring your system virus will again be installed in your computer.

Step 1: Click Start menu and then Control Panel.

Step 2: Choose Large Icon view and then click System.
Step 3: On left side of the window click on System Protection.

Step 4: Now click Configure button

Step 5: Select the Turn off system protection and click Apply.

Step 6: Click Yes.

Step 7: In same window click Delete to remove files from the recovery that may remain.
Step 8: Click Continue.

Step 9: Finally, click Close and OK twice.

Step 10: Once we have successfully disabled system restore we will need to download and install SUPERAntiSpyware on our computer. If you prefer you can also install a portable SUPERAntiSpyware on your USB drive.

Step 11: Also before proceeding to next step make sure you update SUPERAntiSpyware.

Step 12: Restart your computer and start in safe mode because system files other than Windows are not loaded. Viruses and spywares are then more easily detectable and removable.

Step 13: When Windows 7 loads in safe mode double click the SUPERAntiSpyware icon on the desktop or run it from USB drive.

Step 14: Right mouse click on SUPERAntiSpyware icon in system tray and from context men choose Scan for Spyware, Adware, Malware?
Step 15: Select Complete scan and then click Scan your Computer button
Step 16: Your computer is then analyzed. This may take several hours.

Step 17: Once scan is completed all pests found are listed. Select items to delete and click Next.
Step 18: Files and malicious registry entries are then quarantined. Click Yes to restart your computer and remove harmful files.

Step 19: Finally, restart your computer to exit Safe Mode.

Step 20: Now when you system is clean and running smoothly you can reinstall System Restore. For that go to Start menu and choose Control Panel

Step 21: Choose Large Icon view and then click on System

Step 22: From left side of the window click on System Protection and then in new window under System Protection tab click on Configure button

Step 23: New window will show up, in there select Restore system settings and previous versions of files

Step 24: Finally click OK two times to save changes.
