Our strategy aims to strike a balance between efficiencies gained from global processes and the significant benefits of working with local suppliers and communities.?We are currently seeking for a?Manager, Outsourcing?to join our Singapore team.?The primary purpose of the Category Manager is to lead (directly and indirectly) a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals responsible for and to focus on development, deployment and management of sourcing strategies in order to deliver sustained value and competitive advantage to the Rio Tinto Group and it's operating businesses.The accountabilities for the team extend to fact based development of sourcing strategies and programs, associated policies, building compelling cases for change and with the GM or self led gaining stakeholder buy in, decisions on the most effective service delivery channels for various segments of the category(ies), supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, implementation and performance management, compliance analysis and the development? / execution of improvement actions, supply chain management and reporting all within a global scope.? As their leader, leveraging global applications and relationships, internal and external, from a competitive and cost perspective will ensure success in this role.?To be considerered for this role, you should possess:?
