Samsung Galaxy S3 ? direct dial a world class feature

If you send a lot of text messages, emails or are browsing through your contacts list, then you?ll know how much longer it can take to actually contact that person.

I don?t mean email them or message them but physically call them (if you?ve configured your contacts).

The Samsung Galaxy S3 launches boasting a huge range of new ?exciting? features including S-Voice, Smart Stay and Pop Up Play. However, one of the features that definitely deserves the most mention is Direct Dial, which allows you to pick up the phone (literally) to directly call a contact!

Example case ? you receive a message from someone whilst you?re walking out on the street. You need to call them. You can either a) navigate to the contact and hit the call button OR b) lift the phone to your ear and let your smartphone do all the work!

Direct Dial isn?t brilliant ? it?s a new feature after all and will take a little refining but for what it offers, Samsung deserve credit. It?s a simple feature that no-one thought of. Those are a dime a dozen in the telecommunications industry and make the difference between success and failure.
